5 Pools to Dream About…

Mid August and very hot, as usual in this part of the globe. I want to share with you some beautiful swimming pools to ‘freshen up’ your day a bit.

These pools are situated in idyllic places and I think they have been very well designed, by considering the space and the amazing nature that surrounds the area, and by using natural materials such as wood and stone.

Discovering Lisbon.

There are many good things about the city of Lisbon. The Portuguese capital is well known for its ancient history, Fado music,  culture and  architectural diversity, among other interesting things.

I’d like to share here some photos I took of my favorites places and buildings around this beautiful city.

I hope you like them too!

Bathroom Revamp…

Hi all!

What do you think about this bathroom update proposal? I imagined a new design to renovate its out of date decor and jumped into Blender to make a model of the room and a few 3D visuals.

To give it the new look, I would use colourful  and modern tiles, and I would get rid off the bath tube and put a spacious shower instead.

For the floor I would choose a darker colour to create some contrast with the white and blue walls. Also adding a couple of pictures hanged on the wall and a plant would give it a cozy touch.

Thanks for reading!

Keep it Nice…and Tidy

Small apartment, spacious flat, detached house… it doesn’t matter where you live or how big the place is. If it is well organized, it will look much more beautiful and you will be happier!

We tend to accumulate quite a lot of things over the years, but sometimes it is good to remember the famous phrase: ‘Less is more’ and apply that idea to our home design.

less is more

less is more2

less is more3

There are many ways of improving the look of a room, one of the simplest would be to get rid of things that you don’t use, don’t like or just don’t go with the rest of the room.

Donate them, give them away or sell them, just do it!. The result will be immediate! You will start having the house you really like!
